The Thread is one of 8 animated shorts featured in Things Took a Turn: At the End of the World, an animation anthology created by Andrea Schmitz to highlight the work of creators of marginalized genders.

Inspired by the poem The Way It Is by William Stafford, The Thread is also the first of a series of animated postcards for aprildeedee, a newsletter coming soon.
