The Canal is a feature documentary about the Love Canal disaster of 1978 showing how a group of working class housewives managed to save their families after they discovered they were living on a toxic dump site. The documentary has not been released yet, but is the basis for a scripted story of Love Canal to be directed by Patricia Arquette.
